Ok, it's about time for another entry! I'm going to start with last weekend. A few weeks ago i was told that my sister's sister was coming out here to see us. So, I cleaned the house and all that. Well, Saturday morning came around and they didn't show up. It turns out that my sister wanted to surprise me and have my dad and his wife come out here for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. My birthday was May 17th. I was definitely surprised. I've talked to my dad more in the last two months then I have in the past 11 years. Which I think is great because that whole situation has bothered me for years! I'm not going to talk a whole lot about it right now! I think I talked about it in one my old entries. So, If you want to know what I'm talking about you'll just have to read the entries from May of 2004. My dad has apologized for all the time he has missed and I finally forgave him! Now we are "starting over".
Anyway, back to my weekend! Dad and his wife showed up around 12:30pm! Boy, was I surprised! When he got here I gave them a tour of the place. Then going down the stairs, his wife falls down the stairs and sprangs her ankle really bad. It got really swollen and all that. My dad told me that when they got back to Chicago they had to go to the emergency room. The doctor made her take off of work for almost a week. After we toured the house and stuff my dad and I went down to the basement and played some music! He played drums and I played one of my guitars! It was a blast! He did really well considering he hasn't played in over twelve years. Then we went out to dinner! Texas Road House!! Awesome food! Everybody just came back to my house and hung out! Look at pictures of all the years missed! At least what I could find. That was about it for Saturday
Sunday was the usual thing. Got up and went to breakfast! Then it was church! My dad and his wife actually went with us to church! That was awesome! They both said they really liked it. After church we all went to lunch. My mom, dad, his wife sister, and my niece . They had to get back to Chicago after that!
