hey everyone listening/reading. today is valentines day...that most dreaded day invented by the florist and hershey to honor a saint that no-ne is really sure what he did! i've put 4 nice "love" songs on here for ya, plucked from a sort of "mix" cd project that i worked on for about a month..where instead of just compiling a few songs from cd's and slapping them on a disc to mail out, i actually 4-tracked the selections in my own way, and gave them to my very special someone. i dont think i could subject you all to any of the covers, and of course i dont think thats exactly legal anyway, but i can tell you that selections were from aimee mann, the zombies, whitney houston, david bowie, mundy, madness, crowded house, coldplay, cyndi lauper, and ummm..well, me. so..enjoy the choons and try and make it through v-day without getting diabetes or allergic reactions. watch this space for more bitching about holidays.
anyway..im serious about phasing myself out of live-journal. i lived 8 months without it in ireland..and emer..you are just going to have to e-mail me all of your descriptive narratives of bike-rides, and dave...well..you should write some songs and i'll record them. oh, i started work today..im such a lucky bugger to be driving around a tropical island all day. please visit myspace.com and join up so's we all can have that craic too..
