Tis the Season

Another weekend quickly gone by.
We did cocktails at Dr. Frank's, as usual, in Ansley Park on Friday evening. Julian had attended yet again. (Second week running) I went to high school in Pennsylvania with his boyfriend, Luke. They now live in Cleveland where Julian is finishing up Med School and Luke is an architect currently finishing his masters abroad in Florence. Typically the holiday season I spend an amount of time with them as they seem to go to Atlanta the years I don't go home for Christmas and go to Pittsburgh the years I do.
Apparently they have decided to have an open relationship while being apart from each other. I find this very reasonable considering the circumstances, but very strange considering the dynamic I am use to having of them has always consisted of a completely loving monogamous relationship. Suppose one should not judge considering my past behavior as of recent. We went for Thai for dinner which I decided to opt out of due to trying to lose 5 lbs before homecoming. Must look better than best friend from back in the day- Davey. Also must look better than ex"husband" Phil. The group continued on at Mixx where as Julian and myself decided to opt for Blakes on the Park instead for a more attractive crowd. Didn't stay out very long- Julian went home with someone about an hour after we got there.
Saturday at work seemed to lull on forever. I think I just wanted the work week to be over. For some reason I feel the need to just get out of Atlanta- even for just a few days. Holiday break cannot get here any quicker. Our holiday party proceeded at our owner's home in St. Marlo Country Club. It was a sweet quick evening. David met up with me and we headed over for drinks and tip toed out before dinner was served. Jeffrey, Alex & Jayme had decided to throw a party for our close friends for Christmas at my apartment since so many of us will not be here. I took pictures but am without camera at the moment.
Sunday I awoke to trashed apartment which still hasn't fully recovered. Jeffrey and I look so beat down this week. Decided to have brunch at Marlow's on West Peachtree. Apparently I have lived in this city all this time and did not know that Marlow's had bottomless Mimosas all day everyday for only $15. Will be frequenting that place in near future. Lee and I had decided to leave brunch early because we were all suppose to attend another Holiday party at a high rise Buckhead. A little more sophisticated affair which we should not show up totally hammered for. Jayme however did not follow suit and when I picked him up at the restaurant to go to Bennington Tower was a total train wreck.
After party we decided to head back into Midtown and have a couple cocktails at Felix's. We got there slightly before midnight as to make in before they had closed and locked the door behind us. A good crowd. Jayme had to eventually sleep in the car leaving Lee and myself to get into debauchery without him.... I woke up with a boy named Mike in Virginia Highlands. Very cute and very good in bed from what I remember. Third indiscretion since my birthday. Why am I such a whore? Thankfully I didn't receive any hickies on my neck this go. The only one I told of course was Jayme since he had to drive my car home and Lee who witnessed me leaving bar. Need to start behaving myself. Lee also managed to find himself in someone else's bed the next morning.
Yesterday David took the day off so we could get all of our Christmas shopping done together. I managed to get just about everything bought except a couple of toys for my nieces which I generally find at this boutique toy store in Shadyside in Pittsburgh.
I think I need to head to bed... after 2 AM
