I went to a lecture on participatory media tonight. A lot of interesting things were said in a lot of interesting accents, but I was pretty tired after work today, so I didn't retain very many of them.
I did however learn that a second life avatar uses about as much electricity as a first life person in Brazil. Crazy.
I also learned that gummi bears will eat each other if left to their own devices
and I learned that these guys are the kings of myspace.
Oh, by the way, the financial district got shut down as the BPD detonated yet another suspicious package.
Is it wrong of me to imagine them playing air guitar and hi-fiving each other afterward? At least I don't pay taxes in the city of Boston.
