Welcome to Chicago, Mother Fuckers...

Wow, two eventful days compact into one, neat weekend. I must say, Saturday and Sunday were the two most eventful days of my life. So, here's how it went...

SATURDAY: Woke up around 10 am and did some household chores then back to sleep only to wake up again at 3. Get picked up by Kevin at 3.30 to go to the train station to Chicago. Get to Chicago, take the sub to Addison and walk to The Metro and see Kill Hannah. The first band sucked donkey balls, but were distracted when members of Kill Hannah were coming through a fake fire escape where Gavin, me and Cory were standing. Hugged and shook hands with Greg and Jon. Dan was scary so we avoided him. Cory had to leave before Kill Hannah came on because her stepdad is an asshole and wanted her to take the 8.40 train home. Kill Hannah rocked the house, I knew most of the songs they played and they did an unreleased song....it was cool business. After the show, Gavin went to get his coat back and I jumped the t-shirt line and well, I think you can figure it out from there. Gavin and I got thirsty, so we stopped at a McDonald's (which was packed so we left) and then to a 7-11 and got sodas. We walked to the train station, but ended up getting lost and thinking that we were going to be late for the train. Ran around Union Station trying to find an entrance, failure once again. With me being a pessimist, I said that we weren't going to make the 11.40 train, but we kept running and I had to piss like a mother.....god you wouldn't believe....Anyway, we finally get inside and start jumping tracks to get onto the train, only to find out that they weren't boarding yet and there was no 11.40 train....and what we did almost got us arrested. As we walk on the platform, we see Cory standing there with this one guy who said 'punk rock' to us a little earlier on the corner of Clark and Adams. We got to know him a little bit and he was cool. Yeah, we were watched by security the entire ride home. The one guy didn't like me because I lied to my parents about taking the train (long story, don't ask) and he didn't like my attitude. Blah. Upon the arrival home, I go through the garage and find a blue car. I figured it was a rental because the van is broken down and crap....as I walk in the door, I see my mom and she gave me a hug and I asked her about the car in the garage. She said that it was mine!!! Yay, I have a new car, but I know that it's a bribe to get me to go to college. I like bribes. So yeah, I have a new 2004 Hyandai Elantra!!! It's pretty. Now I'm done with Saturday.

SUNDAY: Woke up at 9.45 and take a spin in the new cutie pie. Her name is Lola and she's FAST!!!!!!!! *vroom* Came back home and got dressed for Celtic Fest in Grant Park. Katherine picked me up around 11.15 and went to the train station in Bartlett. Met up with Anna and stuff, then we got on the train. I fell asleep apparently and I said some random word when I abruptly woke up. I figured out the name to this one anime that I like....it's called Kikaider, the robot that plays the geeeeeeeeeeetar. *chomps on Cheetos* Anyway, from Union Station, me, Kat, Nikki and Anna walk to Grant Park and spent some time at the festival. It was very Irishy and cool. They had over-priced kilts and no water. I was mad. Then we took a stroll to Buckingham Fountain and then to Millenium Park to gaze at the Metallic Bean. I see no point in that "work of art" but whatever. Then there was this glass brick thingy that had people's faces and squirted water and stuff. It was hypnotizing and stupid all at the same time. I concluded that a dictator would have a ball with it and could have a mass-brainwashing with those things. Everyone loves something on a giant screen...or just a screen. Then we sat on the grass and then walked back to Union Station. This time the itnerary included not jumping the tracks, for there wasn't a need to. Then we came home and this is what I'm typing to you now. Yup, I need a life.

In conclusion, My weekend has been pleasantly eventful. Do you concurr?
