The HIGH SPIRITS played their first show last Sunday at Madison House, and it was ruling. The lineup currently is as follows:
ACTUAL BIRDS on voice and guitar,
SCOTT DEROCHE (of Saturday Looks Good To Me) on double bass,
CHRIS BATHGATE (solo/Descent Of The Holy Ghost Church) on banjo/mandolin/vocals,
ALEISE BARNETT (solo/Catch A Wave/ex-Dabenport) on vocals and tambourine,
and COLETTE ALEXANDER (touring cellist for Rachael Yamagata; she's also played with notorious heartthrob/rockstar baby Ryan Adams. WTF?) on cello. You don't want to miss this... these are the best Actual Birds shows yet, for real.
My dear friend KATIE CROWLEY lives at the Black Elk house, L B C N U there too??
