This was great - I love how you did the labor scenes with Bobby attentive, nurturing, and protective of Jack. The part where he almost fainted was good too, funny and yet making him realize the impact this event is holding.

I love this little arc you got going on - please continue with more of them. :)

On that note, I'll be glad to have finished Pain&Love, it was a big thing for me to write it all down, to have to stay in that mindset to write it. But I'm awed at the response to it, and that encourages me more to finish it.

I love this family arc!

Great story! Of course, loved Bobby's protectiveness while his mate was giving birth. Very in-character. Jack was so brave and kept his sense of humor.

*Bobby watched in amazement as Jack pushed harder, tears trickling down his cheeks as he pushed. "Bobby," he sobbed, reaching out for his hand. Bobby moved quickly to him, kissing his hand as he pushed.* Swoon!

*Bobby smiled, shaking his head. He sat beside Jack and kissed his hand again.

"My family."*

This really cheered me up (which I really needed today) Thanks so much :)

Thanks! As always, my main goal is to keep them in character. I really do believe that Bobby would be overly protective around Jack, scared himself, but unwilling to show it. When I gave birth to my son, I remember the whole ordeal of it and how emotional all the feelings are.

I'm glad I helped to cheer you up and that you like the arc!
