Bertrand Russell said, among other things, that what is wrong with the world is that stupid people are so cocksure and intelligent people are so full of doubt.
But isn't certainty what makes me stupid?
And isn't doubt a sign of intelligence.?
And hasn't more trouble been caused by certainty than by doubt?
