The Tao Is Tao (137)

                                                  137

The wise have right thoughts
                                in order to obtain mastery
                                        over themselves.

The Taoist sage ignores thoughts
                                in order to avoid control
                                            over anyone.

Here the Taoist sounds a bit like U. G. Krisnamurti

Some of my friends may be asking:
Does bobby really believe some of this stuff he is posting?
Yes, i am starting to believe it.

I am, after all, a product of the forces that have
provided me with my image of realily.
I have not always made good chaoices
about which of those forces i would take seriously.

Will it be science with its logical methodology and shifting paradigms,
or mysticism with its loving quest for connection to reality,
or us common folk who mistake the shifting shadows
of perception for changing reality?

It is  a close three way race, but so far the mystics are winning my vote.

personal life, mysticism, non-duality, via negitiva, sacred poetry, perspective, appearances, taoism, spiritual practice, generic meditation issues, emptiness
