About a month age, i was prompted by a friend to subscribe (for free) to the daily meditations from the Center for Action and Contemplation
I stuggled to provide the information needed to connect.  Can i prove i am a human being?  Sometimes, but usually not.  Can i type the same password twice in succession? Maybe.  Can i follow the path to log in or check out or whatever?  Well, if it is made real easy.  So after several failed efforts to provide the proper information in the proper order, i gave up, figured i would try on a "better" day, and forgot about it.

Three weeks later i checked out my spam file.  There among the messages from Nigerian diplomats, viagra and sex aids ads, stock market touts, and miscellaneous urrequited requests for my attention were about 20 messages from the Center for Action and Contemplation.

Catholic priest and Franciscan monk Richard Rohr, who authors these meditations, is part of the interspirituality movement,  and his obvious Catholic Christian orientation does not usually get in the way of his universal appeal.  I agree with some of my feminist friends that he doesn't get women (a condition pandemic among males) which is sad since they "hold up half (to two-thirds of) the sky."

These will be a nice addition or alternative to the "Four Immeasurables" and "Eight Verses" which aid my infrequent and sporadic attempts at meditaion.
