Update Update -- Weight bearing!!
Calcium climps have begun to form along the seam of the femur repair, which will turn to cartilage, which will turn into bone. Efforts to walk will now enable rather than impede this process! So Dianne's physical rehabilitation schedule will be jacked up, she is on her way to a more speedy recovery, and the insurance company will likely resume full payment for her treatment (minus co-pays of course). I can see more clearly now (and less fearfully) the path toward healing and home. Thank you all for your prayers, good wishes, good thoughts, and your love! Keep them coming.
