I'm so amazing!! (eugh)
People are finally catching on to the thought that the word "amazing" is too over-used and needs to be banned from the English language for at least the next few months. I can't lie, it definitely is over-used, but it's hard to tell people who constantly use this word that they need to refrain from using it. It might crumple their paper hearts.
Vicki and I were discussing how FOB has witty lyrics. To be frank, I don't know any band with more witty lyrics. The reason we can't ever figure out their lyrics (before the cd comes out) is because we never know what FOB is going to say. They could say anything and we (or at least I) would be like "whoa where they heck did that come from?" I saw on an absolutepunk post that "number 1 with a bullet" from the new song "Sugar.." or some lyric like that was unoriginal but you know what? Nothing is original anymore, that's why every band sounds the same and all the lyrics are so jaded/emo. I'm not saying FOB is that original to any/everyone, but they are to me and I appreciate it.
P.S. This weekend was incredible (see why can't "amazing" be replaced for a short time with "incredible?"). Some of the highlights:

*seeing Julia, Jenny, Shari, and Vicki
Today I spent the day with Vicki downtown and we (well at least I) had such a great time. I felt like such a traveler taking the L and everything.
