1.-people like the mob and dealers that kills because "it's their job" or "because they have to". They kill each other to "protect their business"?
Do you think they don't know that there's death penalty or life sentences? OF COURSE THEY DO. BUt they don't care and they will keep doing it.
2.-Crimes of passion. People that commits it knows that killing is bad but when they founs a situation (heartbroke, jealous or a loved one being a victim of something horrible) they don't care and kill anyway.
3.-Serial killers. Do you think that ted bundy didn't knew that he could be electrified when he would be found out? OF COURSE HE DID! That didn't stopped him. In fact he knew that he "did what he had to do".
I'm sory , but I hate to see people being sentenced to life and then being released after 25 years and finishing their lives like nothing happened.
And keeping them in prison wastes space and money .
If someone dares kill someone I think the most logical solution is to end THEIR life.
I'm very LEFT when it comes to human rights .. but a person that kills someone else and taking pleasure in the act is not something you want to be alive ..

I am just answering according to your logic. So you decide who can live and who can die? isn't that the way killers think?
We all tend to think that way, me included. But we must be realistic. Is hard in times like this, yeah....but is a matter of moving forward not backwards.
Maybe if people knew death was the price to pay for murder hen they would think twice.
And to me someone who willingly removes someone else's life should not be allowed to live.
