I support the death penalty for murderers, but I live in the US so I guess that shouldn't surprise anyone.

"Why this kind of people makes so stupid tricky questions?! OF COURSE I WOULD LIKE TO KILL THE S.O.B! WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT!

But that's not the point! THAT WOULD BE REVENGE! NOT JUSTICE!"You make a very good point ( ... )

See? is nothing but revenge. Not justice.

If you think that killing is good in some cases, like the one you just mentioned..then YOU deserve to be killed too.

What? that's the "logic" you just gave me.

Revenge IS justice.

In prison , a murderer will be fed , watch cable tv , be able to exercise and will not have to worry about work lodging and anything else ..

That's nowhere NEAR justice.

Revenge is personal satisfaction

Justice is finding a balance.

They are not the same AT ALL.

So you would not kill a man if you had to, to save your life?

If a man came at you with a knife in a dark alley and you could not run, you would sooner die than kill him? The kind of people that do things like that are not reasonable people you can sit down and talk it out with. If you did kill him to save yourself you would not be a murderer or deserving of death. Let me explain.

It's not just WHAT YOU DO that matters, but also the reason behind it. If I called you an offensive name and you punched me in the face, most folks would say you have a bad temper. But if I slapped your wife and stole her purse, and you chased me down and punched me in the nose, most folks would say you were a brave man that did a great thing. While in both scenarios you punched me, the reason behind it is very different, and so the outcome is different ( ... )
