Health Care
And so it passes. Not with a bang but a whimper. A bill that is too little too late--and manages to be too divisive as well.
Hopefully this will improve (or at least provide) healthcare for a few more Americans but it does nothing to cure the fundamental wrong thinking in US society. Healthcare should be a human right, not a privilege and the political wrangling (not to mention greed, bribery and corruption) that characterised the past 17 months go to show that it's not just Americans who need better medical care; America itself is a sick society and, based on the healthcare bill, the prognosis is not good.
