Don't Go to St. J's Bowling Alley and Play in Lane 5 Any Time Soon

Thank god it's Sunday... and no longer last week. Last week was a really bad week, highlighted by three sucktacular happenings that I can recite.

MONDAY
*My Algebra class keeps getting put on the cancellation list time and time again, due to her health and doctor visitations. And the college board isn't happy about it. A number of things could happen. Because my professor cancels those classes so much, the board is seeing that as we aren't getting adequate information, therefore it doesn't count as a class. So they'd withdraw the entire class for the rest of the semester. I'm definitely NOT down with that. See, this was my first semester of college so I decided to go with a light 14 credit hour semester. If I get those 3 credit hours withdrawn, I'll only be in a semester for 11 credit hours... and if you have less than 12 credit hours a semester, you're labelled as a part-time student, and can't live on campus. But the other thing is they're trying to convince the teacher to retire and then bring in a replacement for the semester. I'm not opposed to that. However, the scenario I like best is she comes back and teaches two days a week and then goes to the doctor every Friday... Which would give me a three-day weekend every weekend :D. Still, I think the most likely to happen would be the first one which I wouldn't be impressed with. I'm going to talk with someone in charge tomorrow saying they can't withdraw me seeing that they'd knock me right into part-time status if they did.

TUESDAY
*I don't know why I waste my energy on women anymore, honestly. Same old story you've heard me bitch about 20 zillion times.

WEDNESAY
*Me: Man, today sucked. I think I'll watch a movie
[[insert Dogma into dvd drive]]
[[watch 20 minutes of it]]
BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH: Hi, I'm going to give you something to bitch about in your Livejournal now
BSoD: Memory dump!
Me: WTF?!
[[shut off]]
[[shut on]]
Computer: Memory Write/Read Failure at 0003306C, Read 03ED03EC expecting 03EC03EC
Me: WTF?!
Comp.: U cant use me no more LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!

Needless to say, I wanted to get home and get to the weekend more than anything.

I'm going to try to keep them short and simple from now on unless a situation requires further description

THURSDAY

Came home. Bope wanted to hang out, which was sicktight with me. We went to Subway for dinner (of course). After regaling her with my computer problem, she offers her brother's assistance, to which I accept of course... even though I was thinking the entire time "there's nothing anyone can do about it." .. Psht, that was wrong.

FRIDAY

What do you think?

If you thought "Went up to Ryan's house for pool and video games", you'd guess right.
Except we spruced up the atmosphere a bit. Ryan brought his tv and X-Box out to the garage and I with my [newly "fixed"] laptop equipped with 800+ music files gave the garage nearly everything that you could ask for.

SATURDAY

Spent the better half of the afternoon at Holly's house with Bopha and Jason. Bope wanted to make her flute case stand out in the mesh of simplistic black-cased flutes in band class. So we bough spray paint and painted it white with blue and purple flames. It came out decent. Maybe the flames would've been better had they been painted with oil paints by hand. But it's still pretty sick tight. Afterward, Jason dropped me off while we tried to make some contacts so we could play cards and watch game 3. But alas, Buckley had his phone off and Hayden wasn't home. So I was just about to settle into watching the game...
...When Bopha calls and talks me into going bowling with Holly. Dont know why it took them talking me into it, but I went. Man, my once proud bowling game has long since disappeared. My first game was a pathetic 88.. but I still beat Bope and Holly. It was cool, Matt (H.), Rennell, and Phelz were in the lane next to us... and soon after we began a second game, Beth (B.), Whitney, Jess (M.), and Beth's beau show up and take the lane on the other side of us. So it was pretty cool. I won the second game, but still with an unimpressive 70-something. Holly won the 3rd game by more than 20 x_x...
The fourth game is where it got interesting, and thus the reasoning for the subject. I challenged Holly, who after winning the third game was gloating big time, to another game. And whoever lost, between us two, would pay for the game. We get about 5 frames in, Holly beating me by not much, when we resort to sabotaging each other. I hurled a gutter ball on Holly's turn when she wasn't looking. As revenge, she throws a ball at the same time I do. Only mine gets there first and...- you know that little gate thing that drops down to clear away the pins?- ... well, the ball Holly threw smacks into that. Now it's jammed. But we don't notice that yet. The ball starts rolling back up the alley. Phelz takes a ball and throws it down the alley to try to send it back and clear the lane. It wasn't until they both hit the now jammed gate thinger that we notice that we were in a bind. We get assitance. I thought it was just a matter of fixing something, then replaying our game. But it takes a little longer than I thought. By now, Phelz, Matt, and Justin have left... and we decide to call it a night and not finish out the round. While we're waiting in line to pay up for the night, the guy comes back ... ...

... ... and tells us that some belt used to move that gate thing was broken... and that it was a $2500 part.... o_O. I thought he was going to take our names, but ... he was just like "You should have asked for help..." ... He was a bit surly about it, but I'm sure he had the right to be. I mean, we broke an expensive piece of equipment. So instead of us having to pay $2,530 for that night of bowling, we got the discount of $30. Phew...

SUNDAY

Short and sweet.

Lunch with Cassie, Laura, and Ryan.
One quick round of pool with Bopha at Ryan's
