Ibanez's SRX series has to be the greatest series of basses on the market. My personal favorite being this one, the 705NT... or as the ameteur market likes to call it: the Wizard.
I'm also a fan of the EBD605, or a Cyclone (http://ibanez.com/guitars/guitar.asp?model=EDB605&z=y) ... Anyone tells me that the craftsmanship is the same gets a beat down cuz i can tell you at least 4 things different about them...
Yeah, Ibanez is by far my favorite bass, though i've never had an Ibanez (sadly)... I've always always always had my eye on an Ibanez 5S-Wizard-NT though, similar in style to the one in that first picture. I'd personally melt away into a pile of gooey flesh if i got it...
