"Maybe next time..."
So, it's been a good weekend so far... it makes up for the fun that last weekend wasn't...
FRIDAY-
Jason and I spent the entire school day trying to get people to come bowling with us in St. Johnsbury. We must've invited 10 people. But when all was said and done, we had 5 come with us; me, Jason, Tuity, Elyce, Whitney, Bijolly, and Erin C.... But it was all good... We wanted to leave town at 7:00.. but actually didn't hit the highway until at least 7:30... We arrived at the bowling alley at almost 8:00... Get some shoes and hit the alley... My first game was suck-tacular, but i couldn't expect a whole lot considering i haven't been bowling in the better half of a year... First game, nailed a mere 79. The second game was a bit better, an improvement from the first game, but still a pathetic score for my norm... 90 was the second game. Then the third and final game, I got a 111, best of the night, yet still not close to my average... Sometimes I question myself, telling myself that the way i was bowling there was no way that at one point i bowled a 180... Yeah, i beat myself up a lot. But still, fun was had by all. Erin said she hadn't been in 7 years, yet she kept bowling nearly perfect frames... strike, spare, 9, strike, 9, 8, spare.. etc. ... Jason, who had claimed he's never been bowling before, had a hell of a night for someone who never bowled.... first game, it was apparent he never bowled.. GO 60-something!.. Second game, an improvement... By thrid game, he had bowled a 120-something... .getting a 120 on your first night of bowling .. that's skill... So, drove home.. Dropped Ryan off.. Then went home...
SATURDAY-
I was supposed to get up at 9:00 to go to setwork again, but I was too tired.. so I opted to go at noon. Went there for about 2 hours before Chris started packing up. I was in such a good mood today that even set-work was somewhat fun, talking about music with Buckley... Country music at that... .. heh.. also talked about how often he reads my LJ.. seems i have a funclub.. ^_^... He's told me a couple times that by far, the best thing he's ever seen was this entry... .... Yeah
Came home from set work, and had to make a massive dump run (I just realized how nasty that sounds, but that DOES mean that I'm taking trash to the dump... >_>)... I had a whole lot of garbage and recycleables in my car.. My car smelled rank the entire drive to the dump, and some time afterward... So, I get to the dump, drop the garbage off, and from there drive to america's favorite capitalistic corparation, Wal*Mart... I went in looking for headphones, batteries, and altoids... I came out with only 1 of the 3... the batteries were the first thing I snagged walking then.. Then i proceeded to the electronics section only to find the only kinds of headphones they had were those teeny-weeny things that go right in your ears (which i HATE) and the massive things that cover your entire ear-area and like a complete area around it too that cost 19 bucks.. There is no way I'm paying more than 10 bucks for a set of headphones.. But I did pick up 3 new cds... BNL's "Greatest Hits: 91-01", Jimi Hendrix's "Experience" (which is a compilation of his best. gotta love jimi), and I saw that Chevelle had released a live cd... Didn't hesitate in getting it at all... Chevelle is an awesome band and I'm willing to bet that they're live show is equally awesome...
Time passes and work comes... I work the first show... no biggie, nothing really exciting.. I come home ... chill for an hour... go back to work the second show... Nothing exciting, I see Phelz and Christine F. .. they go to Van Helsing (probably not to watch it though, if you catch my drift)... talked with Harrison a bit... sold a couple tickets, and i'm about to wrap it up...
Here's where it got interesting... This out of the "What the fuck just happened?" department
I'm outside and Chelsea D. and Lauren M. come up... ... now, i know them they're freshman... and I think they know me (cuz who doesn't know Bobbo?)... anyway, so they ask me something and i answer... and Lauren is like "Whoa! Your voice sounds really cool in that box!" (she's referring to the microphone, of course).. So she's like "Can I come in there and see it?" ..... of course, i deny her. Chelsea jumps in "She'll flash you if you let her in..." ... That not withstanding as a reason, I unlocked the door and let her in (just because I wanted them to leave so i could close down).. So Lauren uses the microphone..., her and Chelsea OMG taht's aWeSoMe... Then Lauren's like "Do I really have to flash you now?" .. except it wasn't a disappointed tone, more of a matter-of-fact tone.. What the hell do you say to that question?... I shrug and tell her "Well, I can't stop you..." ... She's like "Hmmm.. maybe next time"... And they leave.. ... and leave me in a state of o.O?
Interesting night to say the least, but... s'all good...
