But sometimes I sure feel like one. There are just some of my friends, god knows I love them, who I think look at me just to get a ride somewhere.. I sometimes feel underappreciated. Sometimes I barely get a muttered "thank you". My other friends say I should ask that they pay for gas money... well, after one request and their non-obligement, I take that as they're not going to. I don't mind giving people a ride, that's not the case. It's just that taking people to their house, and to school, and to tuxedo rental places, and just other places... sometimes it get's annoying. [If Bopha reads this, this does not relate to you. I love hanging with you, especially to Wal Mart and Subway ^_~]. I dunno, a little recognition for my delivery of them to their destinations would be nice once in awhile...

So, Ryan B., Jason, and AnBuck all came over today to see if we could get Seven Nation Army together. And wow... it was .. interesting. We have potential, let's put it that way. Our biggest problem as a group is timing, especially Andrew. He's going to drum for us but he's having a wee bit of trouble when to enter where. But it's something we're going to work on over the weekend. So hopefully we'll nip the timing thing in the bud. Jason takes the distorted electric solo in the middle of the song and it sounds really good.. though could use some tweeking. I'm bassing it up and singing the tune.. much like i did when i played with Ana and Tim. Been awhile though so I could use some practice.
And it was pure hilarium when Jason plugged in his pedal. When he turned it on, in the solitary square room that is my "jam room", he was able to pick up radio waves and emit them through his amp... seriously. We were picking up a spanish station. Then Buckley picked up a wire hanger that was randomly on the ground and bent it into a wire, moved it around on the amp and were able to pick up the radio waves from some sort of national guard base or something in Maine. And it was coming in almost crystal clear which was the scary part.
Jazz band also went underway tonight. I'm gonna be hittin up the set again, but I'll share the wealth and let Austin (aka. Mini-Boutard) take a song.. he's a growing spud that needs to be fed so why not ^_^
and now i'm exhausted....
