little annoyances...
I would just like to take a moment to get some things that have been buggin the hell out of me lately...
*After winning two Super Bowls in three years, stupid people on ESPN have begun discussing the Patriots becoming a modern "dynasty". Could you imagine... a sporting dynasty that only had 2 championships. Only two... and they weren't even consecutive. If you remember, there was a certain year between the 2001-02 and 2003-04 season in which the "dynastic" Patriots were 8-8 and missed the playoffs altogether. Don't bring that bullshit in here. The Pittsburgh Steelers of the 70's was a dynasty... the Dallas Cowboys of the mid 90's was a dynasty, though not a long lasting one. To be even considered to be among a dynasty in the NFL, a team must AT LEAST, just to even be thought of, have to had won at least 3 championships in consecutive years. And you're talking about 2 championships in 3 years? get the hell out of here. If 2 were enough to be named a dynasty, where were these people when Denver won back to back Super Bowls in 97 and 98? In my opinion, the Pats have to at least win the next two Super Bowls or at least make it to the next 3 to be considered among an NFL dynasty.
*Sticking with the NFL (sorry all you non-sport/non-football loving readers, but this has been annoying the piss outta me), I'm equally as mad about the ESPN football jocks comparing Patriots QB Tom Brady to an illustrious, stunning, legendary 49ers QB Joe Montana. I'm sorry, but just because he's "clutch" in the postseason and has two super bowl rings in his first three years of starting in the NFL does NOT make you Joe Montana. If you look at their stats respectively, Montana Pwnz Brady... I think that it's all the Patriots defense and their awesome awesome special teams players that gets them there and they completely get shafted because every goddamn person on ESPN is so fucking in love with Tom Brady ... Let's forget the fact that Ty Law had 3 interceptions in the AFC championship game and remains to be one of the most stellar corners in the game, Adam Vinatieri is by far probably the biggest clutch kicker in the game today and has won TWO superbowls for the patriots, and Antowain Smith/Kevin Faulk has to be the worst running gameplan in the league (so what ELSE is Brady going to do BUT throw it), TOM BRADY IS TEH RAESON 4 EVRYTHING!
*People need to start proving that they can actually put to good use that lump laying inside of their skull some call a brain. Cuz after working at the theater for a year and a half now, I've seen a whole lot of things, some making me think that "Humans using 10% of their brain" is giving these people too much credit. And it's the exact same things day in and day out/.. I just want to slap someone. Like take working in the ticket booth.. about 8 or 10 times a night, I'll have someone come up to me and be like "I'll take 2 tickets...." and they just sit there... staring at me... ... now, we do play more than one movie so there is a choice... but they don't want to tell me apparently.. they'd just assume just stare at me and wait.... until I politely say "which movie" ... and they say the movie so casually like they weren't the ones at fault here... what the hell do i look like, a mind reader? i can't look at you and say "You look like a Cold Mountain person to me...". That's just the tip of the iceberg. Ok, for those of you who don't know... the movies that we play are displayed over the marquee, obviously but their also located above where I sit so people can walk up to the ticket office, look at them, say "oh, let's see that movie..." and we all live happily ever after. You'd be surprised how many people either don't notice the movie above me or have an extreme case of short memory loss. On more than one occasion, I've had people come up to me and ask me "What movies are playing...." ... Everytime I hear it, I want to step out of the ticket box and just quit for the day thinking "I can't deal with these brain dead people anymore..."... A) Who in their right mind comes to the theater without knowing what movies are playing? Actually, it sort of is understandable, I guess... if it was a spur of the moment idea to go to the movies... or if you're from out of town or something. But come on people, read the marquee... or just crane your neck like 5 or 7 degrees above my head and ... *gasp* ... would those be the movies we're showing? Noooo, couldn't be.... I could go on and on about people... these people are why America gets a bad rap... honestly
*(only CoN people would really get this) .. There are so many new annoying people invading CoN right now. I just wish they'd leave... or at least grow up a bit. I remember Del used to get to people, but he seems to have grown up a bit. But I mean the newbies like Glenn Magus Harvey, Figaro, DisasterChild, Drake, and Midgar Wizard. With Drake's repetitive complaints for personal avatars, Figaro's constantly changing his avatar every three seconds, Glenn's useless posts, and Midgar having absolutely NOTHING to say if it doesn't include talking about "Dragon Quest"... I dunno, maybe I'm just afraid of change or unaccepting of new people... whatever
*my cd rom drive ....well, we're fighting... i might be drawing up the divorce papers if i get around to it. Cuz it just wont listen anymore... literally! like, i put a cd in and depending on how it feels, it'll either read it or not... really! it's like "ok, let's listen to this* insert cd* ... *processing* --nope, don't feel like playing it right now-- *slide out cd drive* *close it again* *processing* --fine, i'll play the damn cd, you stupid ass!-- *listen to cd, but begrudged at cd rom drive*....
I've actually decided to stop using the cd-rw drive for my cds... it seemingly always works when i use my dvd-drive... <3 dvd drive... our wedding day is planned <3

One more thing that gets me ripped shit.... people who can't tab a damn song correctly. I know you have to get "practice" in tabbing a song and whatever. But please please please PLEASE.. leave the tabbing to people who aren't exactly tone deaf. I mean, I'm looking at this guitar tab for 311's "Uncalm" and just by looking at it and where tabbed numbers are on the strings, I can tell it's so far wrong. Also, this tabber must've been completely brain dead because the entire song was tabbed as singularly played notes on solitary strings.. he probably hasn't even heard the song at all cuz IT'S PLAYED IN CHORDS! GOD, I hate them sooo much >:(
