thirsty thursday
today was boring... ... ... but at least it was productive....
in my essence of boredness, i began hitting up my bass for about 2 hours. And in that time, I was able to learn 4 new songs. I was growing tired of playing all of the same songs I've always known. I picked up "Smack" (3 Doors Down), "My Poor Brain" (Foo Fighters), "As Sure As the Sun" (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), and "Harder to Breathe" (Maroon 5) ... My right index finger was already on the verge of blistering yesterday after playing another 2 hours so I had to use a pick. Even so, it still hurt a bit to grip the pick. Harder to Breather actually sounds better picked then plucked (ie: "fingered")
