Musical Inspiration...
I spent like 3 hours today afterschool just workin' on the piece that I'm writing. I only started it on Saturday and yet I've already put together maybe the first 40 seconds of the song for all the parts I'm writing it for. I haven't written any music since Tim C. joined the Air Force and Ana has been pretty idle as far as jam sessions have gone. It was so much easier to write music with three people on three parts than just me doing 3 parts. It's pretty tough to compose a bass/keyboard/"drum kit" into one song by yourself, especially if I want to hear how two of the parts go together. I recorded one part onto the computer and played it as I played another part whilst listening to it. It's going to be a challenge to get all three parts together, but going to be worth getting it all together, I think.
Yeah... I lost my schedule for the drama practices so I asked Tuity if we had it tonight. And in classic Tuity manner, he said we did... I drive up to the school to find the set crew there... and Chris is like "Oh, we don't have it tonight..." Once I realized who I asked in the first place, I wasn't surprised at all.. not for a second. Damn you, Tuity ^_~. But at least I got to see Mariano shut the door on the Sox getting Game 5. This is a good situation for New York to be in: up 3-2 going back to New York with Andy Pettite (who is all out fucking SPECTACULAR in the postseason this year) vs. John Burkett (who implodes on most occasions)
