bleh, lack of love for me
ok, so I picked up katie elder for doug, who is planning on moving out at the end of january.
Utter ass there, now I need to find another roomate or pay 50% more rent. Which is a problem since I don't KNOW anyone who is looking for a place to live, except maybe my brother, who I don't trust to live with me. Also, there isn't an apartment available in the house next door to my parents' anymore, so I can't move there.
Anway, I set doug up with katie, and they seem to be doing well, except for the part where doug has approximately 0 experience in relationships and doesn't seem to understand that he has to call her in order to develop the relationship some, and she's afraid of the phone, so she'll never call. *shrug*
I yelled at both of them, and made her talk to me on the phone for a bit, and she did ok, so maybe there's hope yet.
Ugh, I kinda-sorta wanted to pick up Melody, who is katie's roomate. (who I was attracted to when I met her at the party, but the party was a little hectic) Unfortunately, adam tried to pick her up right before me, katie set them up so that she could double date with shane, which turned out rather badly for all concerned, and now melody seems to be somewhat gunshy.
I told her that I wanted to ask her out and then asked if she was busy this weekend. She said that she was busy this weekend. I waited for a bit, expecting (not unreasonably, I don't think) for her to give me some time when she wasn't busy if she wanted to see me. She didn't, her exact statement was "We'll see about next weekend". Which I think reeks of string-along manipulation.
I need to start getting ready for lunch, I'm going to Tumbleweed with my brother instead of going to history.. but it's ok because there isn't a test until next wednesday and there's a review session on monday. Anyway, there's more to follow on this whole melody thing...
