We're barely two weeks into the new year, and I've already visited the hospital twice. Thankfully, they were for completely unrelated things, and only one was an ER visit.
I ended up getting some sort of stomach
flu right after the new year, which the symptoms of which ended up leaving me rather dehydrated. Dehydrated enough that I in fact ended up passing out, and catching my head on the shelf in Nikki's bathroom. This prompted a visit to the ER, where they gave me an IV, and some medicine for nausea. Thankfully, recovery was pretty quick, and I was back to normal in a few days (though I had a great bruise on my face still).
Then, this last Saturday I managed to sprain my ankle while running. My initial thought was that I had broken it, since I came down on it quite hard. However I was able to stand on it, so I figured it was probably not that bad. It managed to swell up to the size of a softball initially. By sunday afternoon the swelling had gone down, but had been replaced by a large bruise. So I visited my doctor on Monday, and while he agreed that I probably hadn't broken it, he had me make another trip to the hospital so I could get it x-rayed. The x-ray came back negative on any fractures, so I'm happy with that. I'll just probably spend the next week limping.
I still have never actually managed to break a bone. Perhaps this will be my lucky year with the way things are going...
Oh yeah, one more movie:
M3. The Breakup
