Lecturers can be funny people. Today ours started out by sighing and saying "well I see attendance has fallen even further. These lectures are really important and you should try really hard not to miss them." Pause and a thoughtful look "I'm talking to the wrong people aren't I?" I found it funny anyway.

made me smile too......
one of my tutors gave me a massive telling off cos some others were not there...infact she made me cry and then realised i had been the only one who had made the effort and had to do massive amounts of grovelling!
