after silicon harlem
so i went to the tech talk. and it was so worth it! the speaker was d.e, a korean exec at samsung and congressman charlie rangel. he's 83 but so inspiring! they pretty much used samsung's story about a country that went from rags to riches by setting a huge goal and finding resources to make it into reality. harlem is trying to also increase employment and become more tech oriented: everyone there was passionate and involved. it was a good thing.
i didn't get to talk to d.e, but i did get to meet a reporter from korea economic daily. i saw him trying to ask d.e questions, but failed. i saw him later at the subway, and intro-ed myself. he might come to the bazaar now. i did also hear d.e. give out his email address, i think he would be perfect for dave's berstein thing.
yes, it was all worth it. and only a few minutes away from my house! sigh. anything can happen here!
