wide awake
so hey livejournal. it's been quite a while...
i have a job now at the madison athletic club with the shittiest hours ever.
i work 4:30 am to 11 am which is outta control.
i didn't go to sleep today.
i took an energy pill to help me stay awake....so i'm good.
didn't do much today, just went to record time.
then went to the movies with megan, shane, and josh.
then dropped megan off, came back here and watched some adult swim. then we watched spun. great movie.
oh yeah went to senses fail on thursday, that was fuckin awesome.
the bled is sweet. singer and drummer are hot. silverstein was really good. but senses fail kicked ass just like last time. megan and i were rockin the pit. it was really fun, and sweaty.
friday lauren and i went to a kegger at jason sterle's place. i saw some people i haven't seen in a while there. like brett valuet, josh arutoff, and shane dunne. this steve guy was doing piercings there. lauren and i got our lips pierced for free, she got hers in the middle, i got mine on the left side. she took hers out cuz it was crooked but i still have mine in cuz it's hott. my dad didn't say anything about it so that's fuckin sweet. i called my boss to let her know that i didn't have a retainer for it yet and she said i could wear it to work tomorrow and it'd be alright. she's pretty cool.
saturday night (yesterday, kind of) megan and i drove all the way out to saginaw to see TCB. it was supposed to take us only an hour and 45 min to get there but it took us much longer because of all the traffic and construction the whole way there. when we got there island view drive played. they're really good. plus the singer and drummer are real hott. i talked to them too! then some shitty band played, i couldn't even remember their name they sucked so bad. we went outside and these guys from another band, halfway home, talked to us. the guitarist (jared) and the singer (chaz). they were really nice and cute. then they played, they were pretty fuckin good. then portugal the man played. seriously, they were the baddest thing i have ever heard. but they didn't have any cds :( then TCB went on. they were good. the new guitarist is super hott. they have new shirts too but megan and i are so broke so we couldn't buy any. it's ok. when they come back to MI in 6 weeks we are gonna go see them at the flint local, we will be sure to have money then. anyway, on the way home we got sorta lost, but we found our way, even without lauren!
anywho, wednesday i hear that the used is playing for free at rockabilly's which is bad ass. i hope megan and i get there early enough.
