I haven't posted on this in a while, so there's going to be various things mentioned that have little or nothing to do with eachother and are thrown in here in a raandom rather than chronological order. So brace yourself.
This is my last term at ECPI. I've discovered rather painfully that professional programming is totally different from tinking around with small projects for my own use and that its not what I want to do. After this term I'm going to study for an A+ certifacation with my dad and work as an intern helping him at his job for a while and hopefully it will lead to a real job. Or I could just finish my book and get it published. In the meantime, I'm going to keep my job with Sunbelt, but I'm also going to get a job waiting tables at a restuaraunt after this term ends.
Speaking of my book, its coming along fairly well now. I'm actually working on the first chapter of the first book for once. And it has over four pages without a scene break. I'm improving every day.
I got a new bike. Its a road bike and it cost about $630. (No, I didn't pay for it myself) I wrecked it the first day and now the wheel needs realigning.
I'm not ending my entries with song quotes anymore unless I feel like it. Digging up a song excerpt that goes with the entry has been turning more into a chore than fun.
I heard a few of the tracks we recorded for the folk group album. We sound even better than we thought we would. Speaking of albums, Circadian (Eric and Hunter's band) now has a CD out. Everyone should get a copy.
All of my sunglasses have broken INCLUDING THE LEGENDARY GREEN HIPPIE GLASSES, so I bought a new pair at the dollar store yesterday. I will not clip this pair to my pocket and hopefully they won't break. Oh, and I plan to replace the Green Hippie Glasses with an even cooler pair of Red Hippie Glasses.
Honor,
-Bobby
