honeymoon

oh my gosh writing in this journal feels so uncomfortable now. don't know how i did it all the time. i think our lives are based around facebook and twitter now and we can only muster out 140 characters or less...or at least that's how i feel. writing more than a few paragraphs feels too much like work or i don't have the time for it and i feel like i should be doing something more productive. i am only writing in here b/c i needed something to do while i wait for my wedding pictures to upload. albums of wedding pictures = easiest christmas gift ever!

stuart and i have been married a little over 3 months now. craziness. married life is good. if you didn't know we never lived together before we got married. i'm glad we didn't b/c i might of killed him, but now that he's my husband and we're married i can't ;-) no, i'm joking. things are going great.

we are taking an impromptu honeymoon into the woods this weekend. we rented a cabin in the woods w/ a hot tub this weekend. not an extravagant honeymoon by any means. i had originally wanted to go to london/paris, but w/ the olympics and my late planning it didn't happen. THEN we were thinking about chicago, but stuart is a graphic designer for a company that puts on tours around the US for celiac awareness and it's starting to get busy so going away for a week in chicago wasn't happening either.

HOWEVER europe will still happen. my good friend kelly from college and i are in the works planning a european adventure for may of 2013 w/ our hubbys. it will be a getaway for their 5th anniversary and for our 1st. we have decided on london, paris, and rome (w/ maybe a train ride to venice). good thing we are planning this now b/c it's overwhelming even w/ 2 people on the case! we already have our passports. we're good to go.

ok, my urge to write more is dying :-)
