Brawler of the Week
Welcome to Brawler of the Week. Today we're talking about Blue.
- Blue's human form is nothing but an illusion. Even with the illusion up, Blue can't do anything that her regular wolf form can't.
- Despite how far along she is, Blue still can't believe she's pregnant. She keeps expecting to wake up one morning and it'll all have been a bad dream.
- Blue still feels guilt over tracking down wolves for Quent to kill. She knows she didn't know any better at the time, but still.
- Even though she's not anyone's pet anymore, Blue misses her collar. She was so proud when Quent got it for her - it made her feel like a big dog.
- Blue has no doubts about finding Paradise - she trusts and believes in Kiba too much to think otherwise. But she does wonder if she'll still be able to see and talk to all the friends she has on Brawl when they get there.
- Blue's been trying to talk to Squalo more lately. She doesn't quite understand him, and there are times when he's really loud and a little scary. But she knows he must be a good person to make Badou so happy.
- In spite of the stereotype, Blue actually likes baths. Even more so since she's discovered bubbles come in different scents.
- Blue hates it when people drink, and she doesn't get how anyone can have fun with it. All she can think of is how Quent would always cry into his vodka in whatever seedy bar he'd found that night.
- When she was a puppy, Blue was taught the basic doggy tricks - sit, heel, stay, fetch, etc. But even to this day, she can't balance a treat on her nose then toss it in the air and catch it. She spends countless hours practicing when no one is watching but still nothing.
- Although Blue is aware that she's from a "fandom", she has no intention of reading or watching her own series. She figures whatever is going to happen, will, and that's all there is to it.
- Blue keeps catching herself calling Toboe "To-chan" - in comments, posts, and actual conversation. She's pretty sure he wouldn't mind. But she knows that Toboe has been gone for a while, and doesn't want to pressure this one to be anything but himself.
- The name of Blue's real owner was Darin Yaiden.
- Blue doesn't dream that much. But when she does, it's usually of when she first met Cheza. Only there's flower petals flying all around and Cheza is much, much shinier. Sometimes there's even a sweeping orchestral score.
- Given how much Blue moves around, she can't carry a lot with her. She carries all her worldly possessions in a specially fitted bag. It looks like a weird sled-dog kind of messenger satchel.
- Said worldly possessions consist of: a laptop; the squeaky rabies plush Saïx made her; and the stuffed giraffe Badou gave her.
- Blue's biggest fear is seeing Hige come to Brawl. She has no idea what she'd say to him if he ever did show up.
