1. I have no idea what the producers were trying to say in this episode. That even the strongest person can break down? I really have no idea. I agree with smarties. It is a hard episode to watch, defiantly not a favourite of mine, although I like they move Winters away from the tough facade. Although he is kind of annoying when he wrangles Moose about the company's mission. There's protective and then there's obsessive. I guess it can be sweet too It really depends on the mood I'm in when I watch it. And yes the boy on the train is really weird. I guess he reminds Winters of the boy he shot or some kind of flashback. I don't know what the producers were going at, maybe just trying to get into 1940s style.

2. Most ridiculous ever! I remember reading, I think Ambrose's book, that he hated that he said that because it wasn't very stylized or poetic for a writer or something. If I was in war and a guy yelled that out next to me, at least it'd put me in a good mood cause I'd be laughing so hard.

3. Mmmm bacon sandwiches. But moving on.

More comments:
The Brits were, I dunno, a bit pretentious. There were probably some down to earth officers, I just wish they had shown that. And some Canadians.

- Jimmy Fallon was only cool cause he was the only guy I recognized first time I watched this.

-Love got a penny. Ok that was a little off track.

-I absolutely love when Roe yells at Winters and Welsh. I mean I appreciate when a guy is being respectful and quiet to his superiors, trying to adhere to their ways, but sometimes guys need to just grow a pair! And Roe did!
