So, recap episode then some other stuff since i haven't posted something myself lately.
Hung out with Karis before she went to Nyork, I think that was the first time her and I hung out with just us before. She is a wicked fun person and I look forward to the next time. We played games, played music. I do enjoy music so much, so i get wrapped up in it easily, ha ha.
Then I got sick with a cold somewhere after that. New years was sad, all these parties I had been invited to but i didn't go because i felt awful. Then our plumbing backed up so i couldn't use the bathroom or shower. So, I went to the bowling alley to use the bathroom, but I had some peeps all up ons there. Bobby was pretty thrashed when i got there, but otherwise we had jenny, katie, valynne, alex, elizabeth, and megan. A motley crew, if there ever was one. I mostly sat, had a few drinks, chatted but kind of kept to myself. Bowling and karaoke, was good stuff!
Lynn was in town for a little while, saw her a few times while she was here. Always off on adventures and perhaps getting a job at a museum called the Exploratorium, which would be amazing if only to say i work at the Exploratorium.
The new Kumon center opened in Shakopee, so far so good. I'm the only main room grader and so far it's been okay. I got Valynne and Emily to help and Mariya too if things get too hectic. Also keep going out there and I'm not terribly sure if the pay outweighs the gas, since I just payed 3.19 a gallon to fill a tank. Not as bad as some places, but still.
Fight nights are as fun as ever, last time there was even a female there. What is up with that? nah, she was really cool. Amy, i believe, she even played a few games. Her, eric, and I had a nice conversation about relationships and merits and demerits of crazy people that are in them. And mean bean machine makes me want to play super puzzle fighter everytime i see it. Kyle and charles and all those guys are a blast and I'm very happy i got to know them and have them to play games with.
Katie and I went on a 'date' to osaka and did the hibachi grill dinner. Those guys are always a blast to watch, so sometime we're going to hit up ichibans for ritzy times. They have all you can eat sushi for happy hour i think too, and they have asahi super dry. Beer among beers. I very much look forward to that!
Elizabeth and I hung out last night and watch Victor Borge, perhaps my favorite musician of all time. Not only was he immensely talented, but his sense of humor and wit is pretty much my favorite style of humor. Sad he isn't among us anymore, but there is a lot of material of his out there i haven't seen and will purchase someday. Then we played around with my banjo, my poor sad guitar, and the keyboard. I seem to always gravitate towards banjo when i have people over, just such a fun instrument! I would be interested in picking up violin again if she does with her viola. If anything to play it again. Music is so ingrained in my blood i can't not, ha ha.
I think that's most of the goings on I've had! Started playing wow again, haven't had to pay a dime for it. so, once i do pay, i dunno. I do have to play some though, since kyle paid for my druid to be transferred it kind of be a dick move to stop playing right after. Sorta...but, having fun with it. The new stuff in it makes it interesting again. They fixed battlegrounds. now only in 5 lvl brackets instead of 10, so you can do them almost anytime. Cross server too, as well as random dungeons. They certainly fixed a lot of issues i had with it formerly. Do not like the amount of time i spend on it though. :\
anyway, that's it for now. I'm very open to doing anything other than wow, so you feel you can save me from that please do notify me. I'm very happy to do irl things and not nrl things.
