Hooray! Earlier in the week I was obsessively refreshing the Big Bang comm WAITING for this to go live! (Then I remembered, duh, I stalk your journal so I can have fiction IMMEDIATELY!)

I love this! Intrigue! Espionage! SUBTERFUGE~! A RESISTANCE movement. (So yeah, I have smoked Gauloises just because they were favored by the Resistance. ;) Blondes to be exact. ;)

I've been excitedly waiting for this. There was much squee and delight when I saw it earlier. :D And I also may have been obsessively checking the comm before just giving in and friending you.

Oh poor Ed, roasting to death! Good on Winry for deciding to take the automail and ports off.

Al with dyed hair! (*laughs* Even though this is the logical thing for him to do to lay low, my brain still mourned the loss of gold. But it'll grow back!) Also I like the postal worker cover. Seems Ed unknowingly and unintentionally screwed him over in getting to the East. Good thing he was surrounded by people willing to help him find a way to get there.

Ed's sock saved Roy. I love it!

Thanks for the lovely review! Yes, you're right - Ed inadvertently screwed Al over here. I'm sure he'll feel appropriately guilty if he gets to work this out. And Al is lucky the resistance movement got organised fast.

I'd say I'm proud of the sock - but it was actually my beta's idea, while we were fixing a last minute plot hole. We were both pretty pleased she found so entertaining a fix. XD

A nice start. I loaded the rest onto my kindle so I can read it while I nap. Seems like this story could very well tie in with uh... that other story of yours that I'm reading.. the hell.. I can't think of it's title but I just read the new chapter yesterday! hahaha... seems like it could be a 'what if Mustang Tachi isn't successful and has to use their fallback plan' scenario.

Oh this is off to an exciting start! At the moment my knowledge of this verse is from your Big Bang last year and I don't know when I'll get to No Small Injury or The Phoney War, so I'll keep up with this story for now lol.

Anyways, am glad Roy had second thoughts about using his alchemy in a forest. Forest fires are bad indeed. :P And ha, yay for Ed's sock saving him. XD Sometimes I leave my socks on the floor too, heh. I like Al's scenes in there, especially with him shocked a fifteen year old is working in the train. Why do I find it kinda adorkable when he said "fucking hell"? LOL

Hello! Glad you're enjoying, and thanks for reviewing. Hope the plot makes sense without having read The Phoney War. At current, hopefully the basics are simple - Hakuro seized power, and Team Mustang are retreating and regrouping.

I loved writing Al's scenes. My intent was for his self-conscious F-bomb attempt to be adorkable, so yay. XD
