I left this over at ladyfest but wanted to make sure you got the comment so...

Oh man I LOVE this! I was really hoping to see a younger version of Pinako in this challenge and boy did you deliver. :-D Her voice was perfect as was her attitude. I could completely see her as the one to go buck the system and go out on her own like this. I really enjoyed all your original characters and to be honest I was actually hoping it was longer! lol You just pulled me in that much. ;-) And I don't know where you came up with the tea kettle hurling but I was seriously laughing because I could totally see it! Her whole world coming down to an insane stunt! How perfect.

And yes I totally recognized Hoho. It wasn't until you mentioned in a previous comment that I realize you didn't give an obvious description. LOL I guess you just nailed so well I thought you'd said it was Hoho. ;-) AWESOME job hun.

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it.

Glad Hoho was clearly himself. It seemed a bit too clunky to throw out obvious descriptors like his hair and glasses, so I had him goob it up in his special Hoho way instead. XD

You're just always magic. Pinako's so spunky! And was that Hoho on the train, shaking her hand like she's a man? And the teakettle! If this fic was a pile of pillows I would roll around in it, giggling with glee.

Clearly I need more sleep, but you get the idea.

Thanks! This got written surrounded by boxes in a couple of big sessions before the move, so it's nice to hear it turned out okay after all. :D

This is wonderful. This is how I see young Pinako and trust me, I had this kind of discrimination in the 1990's, the 1800s even on Amestris would be this bad if not worse. I'm glad she kept on pushing.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. Women have been doctors since the mid-nineteenth century, so it's kind of amazing how some of these attitudes still persist, yet they do.
