Why don't I have an Olivia icon??

I don't know? Your Ran Fan icon is very cool, though.

I love Olivia but once I'd had the idea that she might be in for some kind of heroic death, I was actually kind of disappointed it didn't happen. She's so hardcore. I want to draw a fake manga spine of her and Scar flitting up through the clouds with little halos while Wrath gets dragged to hell, a la the Shou and Nina manga spine. Or is that too mean? Wrath is a nasty bastard but I do think he cared for the Mrs.

I figured Olivia would make it to the end. I wouldn't have been surprised if she'd died, but Arakawa likes her hard core women. I was far less worried about any of them than I was Ed, despite him being the Hero of the story. Then I decided Arakawa wouldn't do that to Winry...because she's not quite as mean as I am.

The Ice Queen would approve of how you wrote her death scene. Excellent use of the Marx quote!

Thanks so much. I'm glad you feel Olivia would approve! The Marx quote feels very her. I feel rather sorry for poor Armstrong and how she just brushes him off.

I am very bad at fencing. I used to get thrashed by a 9 year old... though he had been taking private lessons and would fence with us at free practice at my uni. I may have to look into it again. My bum and legs were AMAZING after that class.
The good news on skating, the place changed managers... 36 USD per month for POOL, Fitness, YOGA CLASSES and skating! AND I'm dragging my Mom for "old lady water fitness" in the therapy pool. (I WIN!)
And more shooting I hope now that it's not going to be so hot... we'll have at least through November. XD

I was actually hoping you'd touch on Olivier's undoubtedly epic exit in the sequel to NSI, but it looks like I won't have to wait after all! ヽ(゜∀゜)ノ
Still busy with today's doujinshi release, but I'll be scurrying back to read this when I'm done☆

I'm also looking forward to today's doujin. ♥

It's sad, but very fitting at the same time, it's totally the way she would've gone and I wouldn't have it end any other way.
Same with Scar!
Also loved that little flashback with Roy, she had him pinned so well.
Kind of makes me wonder what might've happened if she'd survived to make it a competitive and UST-charged Mustang & Armstrong alliance against Hakuro later on in NSI, they seem to complement each other perfectly in a strange sort of way XD
Oh and her POV is just so wry, I laughed at quite a few bits, but this is probably my favorite line (゜∀゜)↓
Arguing during a duel, typical men, what a waste of energy -

She and Roy do play off each other really well. A competitive and UST-charged Mustang/Armstrong alliance in NSI would have been amazing, but between that and Ed I think Mustang's head would fall off from all the UST.
Hee hee, Olivia is fun like that.
