thank you again for the art to my story. I love it.

Maes' half hidden expression is so naughty

Ed looks like I do when someone dumps a baby in my arms

love the clay marks in the bowl

Thanks! Glad you like them. I need to go and comment properly on Haunted by Water now!

I enjoyed drawing cheeky Maes. Ed is scared of the possibility of baby sick - at least leather cleans off easily?

I did really love them

Ed is definitely scared of baby sick though honestly I don't see Ed in leather. I assume the pants are actually cotton twill

Aha, you're one of the rare ones who don't think Ed wears leather pants! I used to think they must be cotton back in my anime 1.0 days, but Arakawa just draws them so shiny that I swapped my vote to leather. I also like the idea because leather fits with manga Ed's punk/Goth style tendencies. But I can see how cotton would be a way more practical choice for everything but fighting ...

yeah leather pants are hotter than holy hell, they smell and they're binding. (yes I've worn them quite often back in the day) I figure that the changes they're leather are very very slim. they would be prohibitively expensive (not really a worry for Ed) I assume the shininess is limitations in inking abilities (though my cotton black pants are shiny enough to require sunglasses. I hate that about them)

Bikers swear by them, though, because they're hard-wearing, (sort of) weather-proof, and they protect your ass.

There are to render cloth without making it look shiny - it's those squiggles down the front of Ed's trousers that do it. Although until someone asks Arakawa in an interview ("So, Ed's pants - leather or cotton?") I think it's all down to our speculation. XD

well yes that's why I was wearing them

you know I'm waiting for someone TO ask that. I find it funnier in Saiyuki fandom where they think Sanzo's black shiny under robe is leather (in spite of the fact he has torn it with his teeth). fangirls just like leather.

I'd rather cement Arakawa down to how long the alchemists were in the desert. Some people seem to think it was weeks. i think it was longer but it's hard to tell. Also I'd like to know how old Roy was and is. (I believe he's 29 when Ed is 12)
