People are complete idiots; what, you think I have some amazing reason behind why I picked a language to study?
One guy even had the nerve to say "Why don't you major in something else you can really learn? You can always learn a language by talking to people in it."
I should forgive him for being a complete idiot. But I also wanna smack him for being a complete idiot.
Sure you can learn anything by bothering other people abuot it enough; you just wont learn it as fast or as properly as you should as you would with proper education, IMO. (not that this applies to everything.. but I dont think language is an exception to this)
I find it pretty cool I can get to college grad level Japanese in only 4 years of study. That's not an acheivement?
Not to mention this guy is going on about how hard kanji is. Um... to YOU maybe. That's why I go to college,you retard. So I dont have to complain about how hard kanji is because I know what I'm doing. 8D
I also found out position-wise, Chairman > CEO of any company.
