Earlier this evening, 13 key personals such as the principals, deputy director and 13 students from ShanDong Jinan district came over to Singapore. My Principal and HOD together with me went over to airport to welcome them. Met my former lecturer from NIE too, who is now the director for NTU Confucius Institute.
After they arrived, we bring them over to the country club that come highly recommended by my principal. It was after when we had a full supper, settle them into their rooms that we take our leave.
And on our way out then I realise, the Changi Beach Club is just beside Hendon Camp! I was looking at the camp we pass by, the familiar buildings, parade square, then the big sword erected at the main entrance. Feeling dejavu, then the memorable 10km SOC route... haiz... that was the days
And it just feels like yesterday, the things that went through, the hardship, the laughter and times that can never be returned.
