I've been having Luke not learn much more about dear old dad than he did in canon - he knows the Annie kid he met in a sandstorm is him too, hah, but he's been kept well away from more spoilers.

Might as well break that now. Luke's, ah, not going to be happy about having been lied to by his aunt and uncle, but he'll cope. Just... no one tell him about the Vader thing. When I first brought him here he would flat reject it and not even think about it later, but now...

- I think Anakin actually did navigate for a spice freighter in an episode of The Clone Wars, though. Heard something about it.

- I need to check my novelization. I think at some point Anakin and Padme agree what names they're picking for if the kid's a boy or a girl, but I don't remember clearly. I know Anakin thought it was a girl.

Then again, there's a comic where Darth Vader has a vision of what could've been if he hadn't fallen, and Padme is Supreme Chancellor and their single child is a boy named Jinn, so.

I only got my copy of the novel yesterday >.< So I don't know what to tell you about that yet.

BUT I have read that comic; I wont deny, it broke my heart a little bit

ALSO: There's something about Leia that you should know, if you don't already. The radio drama for ANH has the interrogation scene from the Death Star, and it's done without that torture droid.

And it's really hard to believe that the writers didn't know about their kinship or Mustafar. Seriously, listen for about three minutes.

I still can't believe this was considered appropriate for broadcast over public radio. Maybe things were different in the seventies.

I... I think you could be? Maybe? But I don't think she thinks so.

[The sad thing is I've played older!Anakin and he thinks that bit at the end about no longer dying or being in pain pretty much completely neutralizes the whole parent trauma and forcing-a-teenager-to-relive-Mustafar thing.]
