Desai Suburbia
if you would like to submit location recommendations, write up a name and description of the place, and e-mail it to duadministration@gmail.com for consideration!
Mayra: Across a sea of highways, forests and waterways, spans the region of Mayra. This region is the suburbia of Desai, spanning from small neighborhoods, filled with manufactured homes, which nears closest to Tayon, to massive, multi-billion dollar homes upon acres and acres of land (nearest to Cordova), this is the place to move if one wants to have the most calm life for one's family. The best public schools are here, and Mayra has the second lowest crime rate, right under Cordova. Obviously, this wavers a bit between the more wealthy parts of the area, to the less-so. Grocery stores, liquor stores--all the things you'd see in an average town is here, including factory outlets and theaters and the like.
» Desai University
The lead university of Desai, catering to all beings of all worlds that Desai connects to, this is (obviously) the primary location of this RP until plot gets further along.
» Bacchus High School
Coming from the GJ RP,
Bacchus High, we proudly introduce the most prestigious of the public high schools within Desai, and neighbor to Desai University: Bacchus High School. As old as DU, it's automatically assumed that students of Bacchus High wish to graduate and move to the nearby college campus for their continuing education. It has many programs that tie it and the university together, where students of Bacchus may take college courses based on their skills and grades being satisfactory enough to do so, and students of DU are allowed (or sometimes forced) to provide teaching assistance to the teachers of the high school. Its classes are very similar to those offered at DU, from your basic maths, sciences, history and English classes, to magic courses taught based off of what is called the Basic Leveling Magic System (seen in Final Fantasy games: Cure/Cura/Curaga/Curaja, etc).
As of 3/25/2007: Characters MAY be apped to Bacchus High, but should have some sort of ties to the university.
