Some of us have a thing about doing threads in the IC comm. I, personally, think it looks sloppy and doesn't do well when you have players and lurkers following a storyline, as opposed to posting a complete scene. So, thread journals are where threads are hosted, and upon completion, spliced together like an AIM log would be, and posted up in the IC comm.
Not to say I don't ALLOW threadding on the IC comm, because that's really a player's choice. My choice as a player is to avoid them if I can.
And what, exactly, is a thread journal?
