The weekend...
Hey so this weekend (this includes the no school thursday or friday)... i didn't have a boyfriend, dad, brother, or boyfriend's dad. So thursday... i needed to finish what i didn't do on tuesday at work so i did that. I went to lunch with my mom and resumed work after that. Guard started at 5:00 so i left for that at 4. Went to practice, came home and just chilled till i decided to sleep.
Friday, i got up and drove to Joe Net's house where i met up with him, Edith, Dorothy, Mike Holden, Drew, and David... Drew drove us all to the tennis courts so we all hung out there for a while. We played doubles (Mike and I, verses Dorothy and David)... but Mike and I lost but i still had fun. Then Edith and Drew had a game against Joe but Joe won because drew just stands there and Edith isn't very good either but better than me. So like after that we all crammed into drew's van again and went to have lunch at Jamba Juice. We all eventually went back up to Joe's house and played random sports in his front yard which was fun. I had a blast getting to hang out with people i don't see on a daily basis. I'm really glad Mike invited me! :-) In the evening, i went to the movies with kristin, my mom, and kevin's mom. We saw Taxi (Which is By the way) one of the funniest movies i've seen in a while. It was like a brainless funny but not stupid Zoolander funny.
Saturday, was band. Bus trip was amusing. We crammed 7 people into a TOUR BUS bathroom. Anyways, I sat with Conlyn on the way there because Megan wasn't there to sit with him so i found out some fun stuff about him. Our band won Sweepstakes and all the caption awards so that was nice. On the way back, Conlyn wasn't there so i hung with the freshmen guys that sit in the back of the bus and edith and jess which was fun.
Sunday, i went to church. Came back and then my mom and i went to Kohl's and looked around the newly opened store. My mom bought me two new pairs of shoes, two outfits, and a long sleve t-shirt. The place is okay... i've decided it's like Target (minus the electronics) and Mervyn's mixed. They have OK brands like Mudd, Angel, and Bongo but most of the clothes are the Kohl's brand.
Anyways, that was the extent of my weekend... today (monday) was a late day for me but it was chapel schedual so the classes were shorter. Chapel wasn't bad today because all we did was worship (SING) so it was nice not having to listen to someone talk forever. I have to leave at quarter till 5 to drive Jodi and get to guard on time tonight. I'm not looking forward to that but oh well. I guess i should get to homework!
