i cant believe its august already!
itsbeen almost a week since i updated..so lets see..last tuesday i hung out at my cabin with an old friend from switzerland and his family. it was a lot of fun we talked about all our memories from switzerland! i also beat him at fussball!! i think he was too busy worrying about how the players felt since they are stuck on a stick all day lol. it was an interesting day to say the least..we went toubing for a little bit and i held on pretty well although peter was making the tube bounce a lot more than he needed to i think my arms are still sore..then we finally went wakeboarding too!! peter( my friend) was amazing he was doing jumps and landing them really well (with some wipeouts) and then i went and it was pretty good. i got up easily both times and the first time i was scared to come back in the wake so i just let go then the second time i went in and out of the wake a couple of times then i decided i wanted to try to get more air off the wake but i got scared right before it and instead of going off the wake i put all my pressure on the front foot and fell into the wake..i had a huge face plant and got major whiplash at my neck. i thought i had a concusion but i dont think it was cuz i slept ok..anyway the next day was pretty layed back i went swimming only a little bit cuz i hurt so much and basically finished making a key chain lol.
Thursday we went back to midland for a little bit to see my senior pics and to pack! i think the pics turned out great!! she must have given me like 60 proofs lol so ill have to show you guys sometime! some of them are really ugly though..anyway that was fun and then we packed and left for ohio!! the night was awesome we went to my aunt;s house who lives like 10 minutes from cedar point!! we played cards and i got to catch up with some of my cousins and my aunts and uncles.
friday was cedar point!! i dont know how it continues to be exciting but every year it is!! i was still sore so i went ont he rides that i really wanted to! i got top thrill dragster which is still the tallest and fastest coaster in the world!!(for the 4th time) it still scares me but i love it!! i got on millenium 2 times which is still my favorite ride!! i got on raptor 2 times as well but i think that really didnt help my neck at all..but it still is a tradition. i went on several other rides. i also got to spend the day with 2 friends from cleveland. kelly and tara are old friends that ive seen every year at cedar point for the last 3 years..kelly lived in switzerland with me so it just worked out to see each other every year at cedar point!! it was great to see her again and catch up on old times!! i do think my cousin shane (guys) enjoyed their company too lol. it was a great day!!
Saturday was the big family reunion, cedar point was just for my dad and his siblings (with their kids) the big reunion consists of my grandpa and his siblings(so my great aunts and uncles and their kids like my dad and his 7 siblings and then me and my cousins(25 of us)) so it was huge!! my great uncle joe holds the reunion every year and they have a huge field to play sports, volleyball nets, horse shoes, a pool, a trampoline and just tons of good food!! i played tons of cards with my cousins and had a lot of good talks with my cousin shane. he was born 2 weeks after me so we have a lot in common and i guess its just easier to talk to a cousin than a friend..lol anyway then we left around 9 which kinda sux cuz we had a 5 and a half hour drive home..so we got home around 2 30 last night..yuck..
now im up and movin around and looking for something to do since i dont have a car its a little tricky..o well i think autumn adn i are gonna go to the coffee shop!! so it will be good! sorry this is so long and kudos to whoever reads all this!
