Food Network is Like My Porn
Today I went to Ace hardware and they have the most fantastic kitchen section. I am a huge kitchen nerd and I frigging love kitchen stores and restaraunt supplies. There were so many things there that I was just dying to buy but sadly, the wallet frowns upon such activities. I did get a super nifty set of measuring cups with long handles so I can stop stealing Mel's. I might actually need more cupboard space eventually since I'm cooking more and I'm getting more stuff and my spot by the oven is filling up fast.
After hitting up claire's and getting a cute necklace and payless, I was bringing up my bags from WinCo and I had an orange julius but I couldn't carry everything so I just stuck the cup in one of the bags. Yea, well, it tipped over and spilled strawberry banana goodness all over my groceries. It was bad on 2 levels: the first that I had to clean it off all my stuff, and the second that I lost a perfectly delicious smoothie. *laments*
After my trip into the outside world I just did the same shit I've been doing for the past 2 days, watching snippets of bond movies and anime. I made chicken, broccoli, and red bell pepper alfredo and I actually only had one mishap. I'm not going to say what it was because it was really stupid, but it all worked out in the end and the food was rather yummy, if I do say so myself.
School tomorrow! Let's see, tomorrow I have North American Indians, French 102, and American History Survey. When I have time I need to go to the library and find the books that I returned but the dopes never scanned and explain to them why I shouldn't have to pay overdue charges. Not that it's a big deal, it's probably only like $5 anyway, but still, it's the principal of the thing. Then I thought I'd go down to the Rec center and have them show me around so I can get started getting my health on. Have a good first day UI kids!
