Ohh Yess I've had the best week n I thought I'd just share wit live journal too.
It all started wit a call from my bud Dawn who me an offer I couldnt refuse involving Firenze, Italy in January so Yea, I said Yes...Ive never been. Any wayz... cut to Tuesday. I went to Thursdays( my new fav place) and got smashed. I played matchmaker or counselor or some shit for this kid, all that junk... I then proceeded to go home and study for an exam for next day. Oh and how cool, I thought I'd failed, cuz u know prior intoxication and education dont mix, but luckily I got a C. There was curve or somethin. so not horrible. Wednesday was average and then Thursday o Thursday...
So Im minding my business walkin down a sidewalk, very determind and stone faced, as I usally do, when I was asked if I was an MC. I said "hell no!" and kept on. haha. Pissed off. and snobbish (no it didnt actually happen like that)
Well I see this kid in class and he asked me if I was an MC and if I knew about this open mic night, I say "no" but I go and I killed It!! I was jus playin around wit a few songz but I enjoyed it so did the crowd, I guess. sang sang. So Im going to Cleveland to do another one.Its been fun. Im not even nervous. haha. I'll just drink some sangria and head out...I did this tribute to it the other nite...off the top of my head too. It was weird but it worked.
Chicago is coming up quicker than I expected too. the 14th is the date. We're Mega Bus-ing it to see regina spektor. for $4.00. Go Go Cago
