So, I'm at the University of Edinburgh right now. I've been wanting to update for a long time, but I didn't use the computers at all in Paris, and now I have to pay a pound for 15 min to use these. I actually am starting to miss London, since I haven't really been there in about 10 days. The other cities I've been to are cool too, but London is still my favorite.
I was a little let down by Paris... I think it might've mostly been because I was really annoyed by the people in my group though. I had a ton of fun on the days where I was in smaller groups. One of my friends was staying in a hostel and it was really cool hanging out with the friends she met there. I really want to come back to Europe and travel, staying in hostels. Saw the Eiffel Tower and the other touristy stuff, which was cool, although I overall expected the city to be prettier.
We've also been to Liverpool and York. Liverpool was fun because the people there love the hell out of Americans, which is really refreshing. This guy tried to tell my friend and I that our accents were sexy, which blows my mind. We finally hung out with locals though, which I was really happy about. This whole trip, we're usually in a big group and it makes it hard to actually meet local people. York was okay. Nice city, but not really too exciting.
So far, Edinburgh seems really cool. We've just gone on a bus tour and walked around the city mostly, but yesterday we climbed this huge mountain that's literally right next to campus. That sure was an adventure... the mountain is tall as hell, and I wont even get into the walk down after drinking a bottle of wine. Great plan. Ha. So, we're here in Edinburgh until Friday, then we go to Nottingham for a night, and then we're back in London.
There's been so much drama here lately... I'm really starting to look forward to going home. Not that I'm not having fun here, but it's getting tiring. I'm really glad I came though.
