for my computer graphics class, i have to create a 'self portrait'
first part of the assignment...write 2 paragraphs
1: write a paragraph on how you view yourself...
2: write a paragraph on how others view you...
yeah, i can do the first...
but not the second...
so, if anyone would be so kind as to put their input in on this...because i honestly can't tell you how others view me... it twould be greatly appreciated. and maybe i can whip something together on that...
i already have an idea on how i'm gonna set up the portrait...
so hopefully it won't be too difficult to make it happen.
one other thing i like about this class...it's giving me more artistic thoughts as far as design goes.
see, there's this band i saw last night: bloodwilltell. great band, great live show. it was kinda sad last night though because most people were there for the Art Heist, and basically left after them. the majority of the people up by the stage were from other bands. i hate when people just get called up to come to the show, and then leave. they don't give any of the other bands a chance. i felt bad for them because they were basically background music for the people back at merch getting a copy of the new cd that TAH just released. i didn't even buy the album, i wasn't so impressed. but with BWT, i really was impressed, they were great....
i talked to one of the Nicks in the band for a bit. some buddies of the art heist made tshirts...and the guys in BWT said that they could make them some shirts too. and of course, i had about 3 designs pop into my head at that exact moment. so i told nick about my ideas....so now all i've gotta do is photoshop em up, and send em to the band. he said they don't have the money to get any made, but hopefully they will as soon as their full length album comes out.
speaking of them though...and you know i don't normally pimp stuff, but i feel it's important...
bloodwilltell: they're not self-indulgent, they just like to rock
just hop on there quick and listen to the song.
it may not be many people's style on here (based on most of your musical tastes that i know)
but where would we be if no one ever took a chance eh?
