Happy Turkey!
Hokay.
So... it only took about 5 and a half hours to get home today. Yay. But it was a fun drive none the less. Deep conversations and music education. Good times all around.
The only thing that sucked was that Lonnie couldn't make the game because the roads were so bad. Suck. But mom promised to get us 4 tickets to the New Years Eve game... so that will rock. But Kmetz and I had a good time. Although I think my Roma family may have scared poor Eric. Oh well. But the Wings won! 3-7 agains the Av's! That makes me feel much better. That losing streak really wasn't working for me.
Tomorrow though, we get to cook Thanksgiving dinner in our BRAND NEW KITCHEN!! I'm so effing excited! Dad already ate like, half of the punkin bread that I made, though. Oh well. At least it means I'm a good baker. Dinner is gonna be sooooooo good tomorrow. Holy Jeez it's exciting.
But on the whole, I'm really just glad to be home for more than 8 hours at a time. Except that I miss my bed at school. It's bigger. And now I have a tendency to fall out of my bed at home. Sucks. But it smells like home here. That was the first thing I noticed when I walked in. The house was empty, but it smelled like my family. And that's what I've been missing the most.
