This Weekend In Short Form

Mar 11, 2007 23:57

I acknowledge that I haven't posted a great deal this month. I apologize, but I've been busy. Last week was pretty terrible but this weekend, for the most part, cheered me up.

Friday was a huge day. The three best parts all occurred after noon. We had a class meeting at 4:00. Only four people in addition to the board were present, but we accomplished a lot. We're bringing a band to campus at the end of the month and there's a lot to do. We're going to be successful, though, so I'm happy. We're just doing a lot and I'm really proud of what we're doing.

When I came back to my room, I checked my e-mail, not thinking of anything. I had assumed that I would be notified about Gold Key through campus mail and when I didn't receive anything, I didn't know what was going on. So when I checked my e-mail, I found out that I was chosen as a Gold Key! I was so psyched that I ran down the hall yelling and jumping up and down. I am very happy about this.

Then James and our mom came up. We went out to eat, then James hung out with me for the weekend. We went to see 300 on Saturday. Today, I did a lot of work.

I know that I'm cutting this short. I'll try to write more about this weekend tomorrow, because it was pretty big. But for now, I've got more to do before bed.
