Projects
Dad and I went to breakfast, and then to Home Depot to get stuff for the floor & also staples so I can finish of my closet door. Awhile ago we took off the door(s) to rearrange my furniture, and I finally found some nice fabric (a pink cotton print) that we're just gonna gather slightly, and then staple to the top of the frame. BUT we needed smaller staples in order to do so. Also, I was gonna cut & sew (serge) the panels, but I need to ask my mom about the tentions and such, I dont' have scraps of fabric to practice on so I can't trouble shoot myself :(
As for the floor, we emptied the room, took up the carpet, and then dad put down some plywood & coated it with something green :\ I have no idea what it is but at some point he may need my help tiling - exciting! :D Then we'll have heated tile floors and, as Dee said, I can walk around in the winter w/o socks - joy ;)
I also finished LotR: FotR a day or two ago, and started LotR: TTT last night. It's good, but I think I missed the battle on the riverbank against the orcs... I think it's the kind of thing, that wasn't actually written, just mentioned as if it did right at the end, and right at the begining. Unless some of my pages stuck together and I didn't notice b/c I was half asleep while reading. Which is very possible. Either way, it's very sad that Boromir is dead :(
